						The Cotswold region is a perennially popular attraction in England, famous for its honey coloured stone villages and leafy valleys, and very easily managed in a day trip from Southampton cruise port.
On this transfer you will benefit from a local guide with a wealth of information about this beautiful part of the world. Your guide will introduce you to a sense of history on this fascinating historical area including how it grew up around the wool trade, and the industry's decline and preservation as a popular tourist area.
Your first stop will be the charming village of Bampton, used as the village of Downton from the hit TV series and forthcoming film "Downton Abbey". Around the village green you can visit the church where a lot of major events took place on screen, and also see the cottage hospital, post office and Mrs Crawley's house from the TV show.
Meandering lanes and rolling hills take you next to the beautiful village of Burford, where you can enjoy a guided walk by picturesque ancient stone cottages set by the River Windrush.
You can enjoy a delicious lunch at an old English pub built in 1402 with sotne floors and wood fires.
Finally, another scenic drive will take you further northwards to Stow on the Wold - with history going back to Roman times. You will see the historic market square, 16th century church and Roman Wells to visit.
You will end your Cotswold tour soaking up the last of the stunning English scenery, heading back towards Heathrow airport and London to be dropped at your designated hotel or airport terminal.

The luggage allowance is 2 large cases per passenger (maximum 23kgs per case) plus 2 pieces of hand luggage (max 10kg per case). If you have more than this you must contact the booking office prior to travel. If you have outsize items a wheelchair, mobility vehicle, you must inform us at the time of booking.
In order that we can guarantee your booking, you will need to make payment in full at time of reservation.
All cruise transfer/tours booked are not subject to cancellation charges up to 42 days (6 weeks) prior to the the transfer/tour travel date.
If you are travelling with friends but have separate reservations please advise to avoid the chance you may be allocated separate vehicles.
